The life I left behind

So moving back home I've left behind another life. I was working in a book store, well running it actually. It was a nice little place with a little cafe built in. We specialised in books of a spiritual nature as well as fantasy novels. Every Thursday night was poetry night. Before I left we even had Neil Gaiman come and read a poem. "My Last Landlady"
I had plenty of friends and we were often out and about when we had time.
I had a man of my own. Or at least I thought he was my own until I caught him with his ex-girlfriend when I came back from a girls night out early. As you can imagine I ended it and threw his ass out. I can give second chances on many things but betrayal is not one of them.
So I'm hoping that I'll make new friends and maybe find myself someone special in my new life.
It's exciting and scary all at the same time.
